The guys at gamertagradio.com did a nice video review of Small Arms. It has a good amount of gameplay footage spliced in, as well as a sexy closeup of CyberAthelete I know you’ve all been waiting for.

John, Tom, and Emil from the Behemoth stopped by our office while they were in Seattle for PAX. They took a few rare photos of the Gastronaut headquarters. Including our signature “Game Development in Rear” window lettering. Go check out their photo-collection from PAX - including many versions of Tom Fulp’s very consistent rock-star jump.

We then got some beers at the Elysian brewery. Fortunately no pictures exist of the fools that Don and I made of ourselves there.
It turns out that Behemoth is making not one, but two games for XBLA. Make sure to save up your MS Points to buy Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers when those come out.

We had Doug Perry of IGN stop by our office recently to check out Small Arms. He came away impressed with the game and cleanliness of our carpets.

Well, I’m going to admit that our carpets have some pee stains (the dogs mostly, though there is a suspicious one under Don’s desk), but the game is, of course, awesome.

Jake had a little chat with MTV about our super secret (until now) viral achievment.
“In the next few months, Jacob Van Wingen — the 27-year-old director and programmer of the late summer/ early fall Xbox Live Arcade fighting game “Small Arms” — hopes people will strive for an Achievement he calls “Six Degrees of ‘Small Arms.’ ” It’s an Achievement that will start with the four people at his small game development company, Gastronaut Studios, and spread to anyone who plays them online. It will continue to be contagious for anyone who has it, and (Van)Wingen hopes they will be able to program it in such a way that those who catch it will be able to tell how many degrees they are separated from the first players at Gastronaut.”

Jake and I fielded another Small Arms Q&A this week for XBLArcade.com. These guys are always on the ball with the latest Arcade gossip, so check them out.
The first of many Q&A sessions about Small Arms went up on a cool Xbox focused blog (K1lla’s Xbox Domain).
Check out the interview here.
